Team Lead, Software Engineering
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, accountable for technical quality, professional growth and delivery.
- Guide technical decisions and set the standards for API contracts, data modelling and service boundaries.
- Run sprint planning, task delegation and progress tracking across engineering initiatives.
- Work with product and security stakeholders to surface technical risks early and keep delivery unblocked.
- Still ship critical-path features across Python, Django, React, Next.js and TypeScript.
Software Engineer
- Designed and maintained microservices for the security platform in Node.js (Express) and Python (Django, Flask), API-first.
- Built and optimised REST APIs and real-time communication on Kafka and WebSockets.
- Optimised schemas and ran data pipelines across PostgreSQL and MongoDB with Prisma, with data integrity as the constraint.
- Built the React, Next.js and TypeScript interfaces on top of those services, owning features end to end.
- Mentored junior developers and led code reviews.
Frontend Developer
- Built web applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Redux.
- Turned detailed Figma designs into accessible, production interfaces.
- Wrote end-to-end tests with Cypress to keep releases stable across browsers.
- Managed CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions deploying to AWS.
- Supported backend work in Python, Flask and Jinja2.
Md Imran
Hossen.
Full-stack engineer and team lead building cybersecurity SaaS: API-first microservices in Python and Node.js, real-time pipelines on Kafka and WebSockets, and the React and Next.js interfaces on top.
- Team Lead, Software Engineering, Pipeline Co., Ltd
- 3 yrs 7 mos, promoted twice
- Microservices, event-driven systems, security SaaS

Profile
I joined Pipeline Co., Ltd, a Japanese cyber-intelligence company, as a frontend developer in March 2023, working full-time and remotely with its Dhaka team. I moved into backend and microservices work as a software engineer, and since August 2026 I have led an engineering team in Dhaka while staying hands-on.
Most of my work sits where security products get hard: API-first services in Python and Node.js, event-driven pipelines on Kafka, WebSockets and Celery, and data models that hold up under high-volume, time-series threat data.
Contracts first
API contracts, data models and service boundaries get agreed before implementation. Validation lives at the edge, so the core can trust its inputs.
Standards over heroics
Review standards and shared conventions let a team move quickly without depending on any one person to hold the system in their head.
Small, reversible releases
Typed checks, end-to-end tests and CI gates on every change. Deploying is routine, and so is rolling back.
Experience
Selected work
RiskSensor
External cyber-risk platform that continuously maps an organisation's exposure, from leaked data and shadow IT to vulnerable public services, across subsidiaries and suppliers.
ThreatIDR
DNS security platform that blocks malware, phishing, C2 and DGA traffic before a connection is made, using threat intelligence refreshed every 60 seconds.
